Parker Edmiston is the owner of The Law Offices of Parker Edmiston, with offices located in Scottsboro and Huntsville, Alabama. As a general practitioner, he has worked extensively in domestic law, including: divorces, custody and modification of custody cases, child support and child support modification cases, visitation,  grandparent rights and paternity establishment.

Several years ago, Parker Edmiston was instrumental in the creation and establishment of Adivorcewithoutdrama.com which sought to take away the animosity and bitterness often found in divorces. The program is open to all parties who seek an alternative to the all too destructive consequences associated with contested divorces.

Parker Edmiston is also a criminal trial attorney, with a wide variety of jury trial experience representing clients charged with minor crimes to Murder. “Everyone deserves to have a competent trial attorney when they choose to go to a jury trial to prove their innocence, ” Parker said. He has trial experience as a defense attorney, a City Prosecutor, City Attorney and a Municipal Judge. This wide variety of trial experience helps his clients understand the criminal trial process from different perspectives.

Mr. Edmiston earned his J.D. in 1991 from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. He practiced law in Ohio for a number of years before returning to his roots in Alabama. Parker opened his office in Scottsboro, Alabama in 2002 and his office in Huntsville in 2009. He is a member of the Ohio and Alabama State Bars and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Parker maintains an active role in the criminal law and family law
sections of the Alabama Bar Association and the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association.
